Helping to Overcome Anger and Bring Peace

As many of you know, anger/conflict management is something I feel very strongly about.

Recently, someone who saw an ad in a local newspaper pertaining to requests for having teens complete surveys dealing with issues impacting their lives, asked if there was something like this for adults. Unfortunately there isn’t. However, this person mentioned having anger over something occurring in his past. Here is where having certain information can be helpful an understanding anger motivator.

Answering the following questions helps to acquire this knowledge. It is the starting point to learning how to manage anger in positive ways

What was the incident?

What causes this feeling to recur?(Why does a person get angry)

How does a person react when this feeling surfaces? (Body responses, thoughts, other feelings)

What can a person do get handle this anger? (Anger management methods)

Once this information is gathered, it can enable a person to learn ways to manage and express anger in positive ways. This knowledge can be provided by the Anger Management Power (A.M.P) described in the revised edition of my forthcoming book, Peace: The Other Side of Anger, and experienced through presentations and conversations.
