A Podcast on Violence Prevention

One of my most important goals is to help stem the tide of violence. Toward this end, I have developed and facilitated an anger management program, known as the Anger Management Power (A.M.P.) Program, which has been provided to a variety of audiences including:

1. high school students,

2.college students in various disciplines

including teacher education courses and conflict

resolution classes

3. parent groups

4. professional groups

I wrote a book entitled, Peace:The Other Side of Anger, based on the A.M.P. Program, which I am presently revising to include chapters on the pandemic, gun violence and social media. These areas either hadn’t occurred or were not as much as an influence on teens when the first edition was written.

Earlier this week I did an interview on the podcast The Anxious Journey Voyage on the subject of violence prevention. It will give you some idea of my thoughts on this subject.

Let me know your reactions to the subject of this podcast and any groups or locations you think can benefit from exposure to this program

Thanks!
