This past weekend, I presented some ideas utiizing an interactive discussion between myself and audience members at the North Haven Memorial Library. This format is one way of reaching people who function in a variety of roles and can take what ideas we’ve shared to others in their lives.
Many thanks to Emily Tomlin, who provided the space, the chairs set up in a semicircle, my preferred way for interacting with others, and the equipment needed for a powerpoint component of my program. In addition to helping me coordinate this event, became an active participant bringing ideas relating to teens who are part of her role as the teen librarian. My gratitude also extends to to Alexa who assisted me in the technology aspect of this event when it was held.
My next presentation will be this Saturday, May 9th at the Public Library of New London, from 12-1:30pm. Join me!!!
The photos below helped to point people in the right direction and display part of my presentation.
