Oftentimes, distance, circumstance or any other obstacle which may occur, prevents you from personally attending an event, thanks to the Pandemic, Zoom enters the picture.
In my case, the in- person Violence Prevention Seminars I usually facilitate with graduating students in the Dominican University Teacher Education Program was accomplished by Zoom. The students and I were able to exchange ideas and experiences effectively, allowing them to bring this knowledge to their newly assigned schools as classroom teachers.
The downside of a video seminar is,it prevents some educational activities from being utilized, and possibly limits the scope of the learning process.
It was a lively, interesting and informative experience for us all!
