Social Media is an ever-present phenomenon in so many lives, particularly those of teenagers. Many of the pros and cons of this reality are known to some, while others are not. These are explored in Chapter Seven, along with productive ways of assisting youth in understanding and preventing its negative influences.
A survey on this topic by adolescents is provided at the end of this chapter. It is a useful guide to understanding teen thinking. Questions and responses relating to particular sites they visit, as well as their views on adult input are explored.
