The value of an author’s message does not only come from his/her written work. It can also come from the presentation of ideas to various audiences.
For several years, I have been presenting Violence Prevention seminars to college students involved in teacher education programs in several institutions. This workshop, as many others provided for different groups of individuals, is based on the Anger Management Power (A.M.P.) Program on which my book, Peace: The Other Side of Anger is based, as well as the upcoming 2nd Edition of this book. The goal of this particular program is to provide educators with techniques to successfully manage situations involving students’ reactive behavior.
This past week I facilitated this particular seminar at Dominican University in New York. The student teachers were involved in a lively interactive workshop, and felt the knowledge it provided would be helpful in their careers.
(Workshops on the subject of anger management can be provided to parents, professionals and teenagers alike. It this type of educational experience may be helpful, feel free to contact me at: [email protected])
