This past Saturday, I was one of 25 authors, who attended the Local Author Showcase at the Hagaman Memorial Library in East Haven, Ct. It was a time for patrons to meet many authors, and treated to a variety of work, and ideas.
It provided writers with exposure to patrons, who might not have been ordinarily drawn to an individual author’s works and presentations, with the opportunity to experience many types of books and ideas.
It was also a chance for writers to network with colleagues and share information on other events, and experiences.
It is a win/win for patrons and authors alike!!
